Tropical Update:
Tropical Storm Gustav is expected to become a hurricane again, sometime before Thursday evening. The long range track for the storm brings it to the northern Gulf Coast as a major hurricane (category 3 or stronger) by Monday afternoon. The WEAR viewing area is inside of the "cone of uncertainty" and we will have to watch the progress of this storm very closely for the next several days.

Local Weather:

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with an isolated shower or storm. Highs around 90.

Wed. Night: Mostly clear, though we may see some patchy fog overnight and into Thursday morning. Lows around 75.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs around 90 and a small chance for rain.
