FLORIDA - Governor Charlie Crist and the Florida Cabinet have ordered an investigation into reports that the state allowed thousands of criminals to work in the mortgage business.

The state's Chief Financial Officer... Alex Sink... Has even called for Don Saxon... The head of the office of financial regulation... To resign.

Saxon did *not offer his resignation... And is defending his office...

Saxon has been given two weeks to come back with proposals to insure felons are not being licensed as mortgage brokers.

In the meantime the office will be thoroughly investigated.Mortgage Fraud
