Tropical Update:
We have three named storms in the Atlantic Ocean. The first is Hanna, which is over the Atlantic, east of Central Florida. Hanna may strike the southeast coast over the weekend. The next is Ike, and may be the most concerning for WEAR viewers. This category 3 hurricane has a five day track that puts it in the extreme southwestern Gulf Of Mexico. Finally, in the eastern Atlantic, we have Josephine, which will remain over the open waters for at least the next five days.
