FLORIDA - Governor Charlie Crist and the Seminole Indian Tribe continue their fight to expand gambling in the state.

They both filed motions yesterday with the Florida Supreme Court.
They want the high court to reconsider a ruling that stopped casino expansion in Florida.

Earlier... Crist had signed a compact with the tribe... That would bring Vegas-style slot machines, blackjack and baccarat games into casinos.

But many legislative leaders were against the compact.... arguing the governor cannot make an agreement like that without the legislature's approval.

The judges agreed unanimously.

They will now consider a rehearing... But those are rarely granted. Indian Gaming
