Valentine's Day: Do you think Valentine's Day has become too commercial?
Comment: Way too commercialized!!! Makes unrealistic expectations on people, especially those with no money to buy things. It comes from the heart, not the pocketbook, or at least that is how love is should be shown! from Molino/Florida by Tabitha
Comment: Valentines Day has definately become too commercialized. I was not the least surprised that the major stores were putting out Valentines Merchandise before the Christmas stuff had been packed away for this year! from Mary Esther, Fl. by Diana
Comment: Things, can't buy real love a smile, kiss and to heard I love you for over twenty five years is what real love is its valentine's day everyday from Jay,Fl. by Barbara
Comment: I just can't let that male chauvinist pig get away with his really ignorant comment about the "women of this country" making Valentine's Day commercial to the point where it is now ridiculous. My response to him is 'what have the men of this country done with Superbowl Sunday?' Geez! If anything is to the point of being ridiculous, Superbowl Sunday most certainly is. As far as the original question goes, the point is now moot, as in "So what is your point?" Commercialism and consumerism run this country, not women per se. Do not blame everything on women, for men are just as responsible for this crass commercialization as women. In other others, men, get over yourselves. from Pensacola, Fl by Carolyn
Comment: yes, yes, yes,it haunts me walking up front of the stores, espressly,CHECKING Comment: Maby it will help the Economey LOL from ala. by ann
Comment: Without a doubt, after all, it is only another day. But then again, so is Christmas, so is Thanksgiving, so is Halloween, etc.,etc. It's far time that the collective "greed" of the American entrepreneur is put to some good use; i.e., solving our slumping economy. I'm sorry, everyone buying a "nightie" or a box of chocolate on the same day (in my opinion) does not stimulate the American economy. from Mary Esther, Fl. by Tom
Comment: every holiday has become to commercial, just go in any store and look, it is right there in front of you. from milton,fl by anna
